About The Event

Jazz & Rib Fest, presented by Columbus Recreation and Parks, will take place on July 24, 25, and 26, 2026, in downtown Columbus, Ohio. This FREE festival draws over 200,000 attendees and offers multiple stages with continuous live music.

Prior to applying, please consider the following information:

This year, Columbus Recreation and Parks is teaming up with Jazz Arts Group of Columbus to help curate a lineup that highlights Columbus’ vibrant jazz scene. Priority is placed on dynamic live performances and musical excellence. Both emerging and established artists are encouraged to apply! Strong marketing materials are required. As a festival that celebrates both music and food, our audience is very diverse. We encourage you to provide links to videos showcasing your group in a live performance setting, along with recent music samples.

  • Set lengths are typically 90 minutes.
  • Artists who apply through our application process and are offered a performance opportunity will receive payment based on length of performance and the number of performers in group.
  • A limited number of headliner and sub-headliner spots are available annually by invitation and the terms of these contracts are negotiated independently.
  • Sound, lighting and general backline will be provided for all artists.
  • Jazz & Rib Fest does not cover transportation or accommodation expenses for local or regional artists.
  • Jazz & Rib Fest does not provide artist parking.
    • Artist Loading Zones will be available near each stage to load/unload gear.
  • Notification of acceptance or non-acceptance will be sent by email to all applicants. Incomplete applications may not be accepted.

First consideration will be given to those who apply by Feb. 17.
