Requests made at least ten (10) business days in advance of the festival will generally allow us to provide seamless access; however, every effort will be made to meet requests received closer to the festival. When you make your request, please be prepared to discuss your needs with us, let us know if you will have a companion with you, and provide your name and contact information so that we can follow up with you.

Parking and Transportation

Jazz & Rib Fest has three designated loading zones, so attendees have the flexibility to set their drop-off location based on where they want to go within the festival and the closest stage.

• West Bank Park Stage: W. Town Street and Starling Street
• Bicentennial Park Stage: S. Civic Center Drive and Noble Street
• Main Street Stage: W. Rich Street and Lucas Street

Accessible parking is available in area surface lots and parking garages. Visitors can search for accessible parking using the ParkColumbus website: https://parkcolumbus.parkmobile.io/venue/bicentennial-park/events

Restrooms

There will be accessible portable restrooms throughout the festival. In addition, permanent accessible restrooms are located in Bicentennial Park.

Mobility Access and Seating

Jazz & Rib Fest is held outdoors. As with any outdoor setting, you will encounter various types of terrain. At Jazz & Rib Fest that includes concrete sidewalks, brick pathways, paved roads and grassy fields. You may find the occasional tree root or pothole.

Jazz & Rib Fest is a large site. So please, plan accordingly as there are sometimes great distances between parking, points of interest and stages. Shaded dining areas are available throughout the festival for attendees to rest, cool off and eat. If it should rain, there could be mud or wet surface conditions. Please take this into account when navigating Jazz & Rib Fest.

Two of the three stages are in park spaces with lawn seating. There are accessible routes connecting the entrances into the lawn seating areas of both West Bank Park and Bicentennial Park. The Main Street Stage is located on the street at the corner of Main and Belle Streets. Open seating is available at all stages on a first come, first served basis. Jazz & Rib Fest does not offer fixed seating in front of the stage areas. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs.

Assistive Listening Devices (ALDs)

Assistive Listening Devices (ALDs) are available during event hours at the Front of House tents located in the center of West Bank Park and Bicentennial Park stages and the side stage tent at the Main Street Stage. The Front of House tents at the West Bank Park and Bicentennial Park stages are marked with a large Columbus Recreation and Parks Department flag. ALDs should be returned to security at the tent where you picked up the device at the end of the day.

Service Animals

Service animals are permitted throughout the festival.
