Volunteer

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Jazz & Rib Fest! Our event would not be possible without all the support from our volunteers, so thank you in advance – we couldn’t do it without you!

Our volunteer sign-up is now through a database of community volunteer opportunities offered in partnership with Experience Columbus.

New Users:

When you start the registration, it will prompt for your name and email address so it can check if you are already in the database. It will then prompt you to create a volunteer profile. Once you have entered all the required information, click “Add Volunteer Information to Profile.” You will then be able to view and register for your preferred event. The information you enter is secure and not shared with anyone. You will, however, be asked if you are interested in other community volunteer opportunities, it is your choice to opt-in for that or not.

Returning Users:

If you’ve registered through the Experience Columbus volunteer system before, your information should be in the database based on the email you used at that time. When you start the registration, it will prompt for your name and email address so it can pull up your information. You will then be able to view and register for your preferred event.

The new system offers you the opportunity to share your volunteer commitment on Facebook and Twitter. Share away! The more the merrier!

PLEASE NOTE: A new Columbus Recreation and Parks Department policy now requires all volunteers 18 and older to complete a free background check by visiting www.opportunities.averity.com/crpd.
