Bad Wolf Barbecue originated in Kansas City in 1984. In ‘99, the head Wolf meets this pretty Canadian girl and, well, we’ve been working out of Ontario ever since. Still the same barbecue, of course, “smoky and sweet, and got a nice kick to it.” We’ve won “Best Ribs” and “Best Sauce” in pretty much every stop along the Canadian Q festival circuit by now, so we’re headed back home, city by city, where the pigs are fat and the chickens ‘r happy. (In case you’re keeping score, it’s Wolf-3, Piggies-0.) Looking forward to a mighty fine time in the Buckeye State!
Our pit master is an award-winning chef, and has been the Executive Chef for the St. Louis Rams, Georgia Tech, and the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games, and personal chef to many. His BBQ love started as a little kid when he first began to learn to cook at the tender age of 7 years old, while creating spectacular messes in his mother’s oven that she was left to clean up. He later got into a rhythm and presto.

Butch Lupinetti, former owner of Butch's Blues and BBQ joint in Mt. Laurel, NJ, takes his "Smack Your Lips" BBQ to contests across the nation. His pork ribs, pulled pork, beef brisket and chicken have won him numerous awards including the Great American Rib Cook-off in Cleveland, OH, as well as the winner of the Best in the West Cook-off in Sparks, NV. You may have recently seen him beat Bobby Flay in a Throwdown featured on the Food Network.
Not content to just be a BBQ pro, Butch also has won numerous awards for his barbecue and hot pepper sauces. They include awards from Chile Pepper Magazine, the Fiery Foods Festival in Texas and the Best of New Jersey for 3 consecutive years. Visit his website for additional information.
