 AwardsAbout the AwardsJazz & Rib Fest presents awards in five different categories selected by two distinguished panels of judges. The Critics’ Choice, All-Ohio Champion and Best Sauce Awards are determined by a panel of barbeque experts, including chefs and certified BBQ Judges from the Kansas City Barbeque Society. The Big Whigs’ Awards are selected by panel of judges comprised of local celebrities, media personalities and festival sponsors. During the festival, all festival attendees are invited to vote for their favorite rib team. The People’s Choice Awards are presented to the rib teams with the most votes.
