The “Back In The Day Band” was formed by Larry Lee who played Professional Football with The Detroit Lions, The Miami Dolphins and Super Bowl Champion Denver Broncos.
In 1993 Larry transitioned from the football field to the front office and became a Vice-President for the Detroit Lions till 2001. After leaving the Lions, he decided to take his second love – playing bass – and make it his new career.
The “Back In The Day Band” that Larry assembled is comprised of some of the finest musicians around. They feature former members of The Temptations, The Four Tops, The Spinners, The Dramatics, The Contours, and the The Funk Brothers.
These musicians have played at some of the most prestigious venues and music tours across the country and around the world. Click the BAND link to learn more about each member.
The “Back In The Day Band” plays a mix of cover songs and originals that span R&B, Funk, Pop, Soul, Blues, Hip-Hop, Disco, and even Rock. If you can move and groove to it, they can play it.
